Web Design
Our website design process can be summarized with 4 “D’s”.
- Discovery
- Design
- Development
- Deliver
Discovery
Before we design web pages, we undergo thorough research and planning. “Discovery” is the process of discovering your company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (S.W.O.T). We have experienced that the more time spent in this stage, the better – as no amount of added “Flash” later on will cover up any unclear and immeasurable goals, unrealistic expectations, inaccurate or obsolete data.
The time we devote to Discovery will ultimately depend on your project’s scope and budget.
Design
After we’ve clearly defined your website’s goals and ironed out a concept, it’s time for us to begin drafting assets. Assets such as flowcharts, wireframes and mapping out the directions you want your users to be led towards, will all lead to a final “mock”. Mocks help us to visualize the overall look and feel of your website, as well as how the web page design will interact with your content.
Development
With your approved mock in tow, we go into the web development phase where we match your art with computer science. We code our sites using industry-standard technologies that display well across different web browsers.
Deliver
After your website has been thoroughly tested, and its’ quality is assured, your site will be made ready for hosting and available to the open web. We will transfer the files to your web server or assist you in finding a suitable provider if necessary.
